If your priority is less walking, tell us before choosing: time beside a river, in a town or at a viewpoint is different from a guided waterfall hike. Agafay is different from the Sahara dunes
Agafay offers rocky, open desert scenery near Marrakech. It is not the sand-dune landscape of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. A day trip to Agafay, the valleys or Ouarzazate does not include a Sahara camp night. Private transport and the day’s inclusions
Private 4×4 excursions are available; the published 4×4 arrangement allows up to six passengers per vehicle. Confirm the vehicle for your party, luggage and chosen programme when requesting a quote. Individual excursion pages also describe other transport or shared options, so the selected option matters.
Ask for the pickup point, planned return, driving time, walking route and included services in writing. Meals, drinks, local guides, entrance tickets and optional activities vary by excursion and option; do not assume they are all included because transport is private. Tell us about children’s ages, walking preferences and any requirements before the programme is agreed.
Plan departure and return
Provide your hotel or riad location so we can confirm the meeting point. If your accommodation is in a pedestrian area, agree the accessible pickup location. Keep your return plans flexible until the day’s schedule is confirmed, especially for a mountain-road excursion or an evening flight.
