What to Bring for Ourika and the Three Valleys
This full-day Atlas circuit includes multiple scenic road stops and a one-hour guided walk. A visit around Setti Fatma can be light or more demanding depending on the optional waterfall plan you agree in advance.

Dress for the agreed walk
Wear shoes with grip for the included walking tour and any uneven surfaces around the valley. If you arrange the optional waterfall hike, ask about its terrain and duration before choosing footwear. A light layer, sun protection and a compact rain layer as conditions require are practical for mountain and riverside stops.
Carry the day’s essentials
Bring water, a charged phone and your booking contact in a small bag. The programme includes a local guide, a one-hour walk, visits to a Berber house and a women’s argan cooperative, plus air-conditioned minibus transport and Marrakech pickup and drop-off. Lunch near the river and personal drinks are separate, so plan for those purchases.
Confirm the meeting and hiking plan
The circuit travels through Lake Lalla Takerkoust, Moulay Brahim, the Kik Plateau and Asni before Ourika and Setti Fatma. Note your confirmed pickup time, preferred guide language and the estimated return around 19:00. Tell the operator ahead of time if someone in your group will avoid the optional hike or needs a slower walking pace.
Before you book
- Do not treat the one-hour included walk as a promise to visit every waterfall.
- Ask whether an extended waterfall hike changes the price or the other stops.
- Keep a little flexibility for road and weather conditions.
