Packing for a Ten-Day Casablanca, Merzouga and Marrakech Tour

10 Days Grand South Morocco Tour from Casablanca

Packing for a Ten-Day Casablanca, Merzouga and Marrakech Tour

Pack for several settings rather than a single climate: city walks in Rabat and Fes, an Erg Chebbi desert stay, the Todra and Dades landscapes, Marrakech and a day by the Atlantic in Essaouira. A light layer and comfortable walking shoes will serve you across more of the route than specialist equipment.

Keep the desert essentials close

Days four and five are spent in the Merzouga area. Prepare a small overnight bag for the camp or hotel arrangement stated in your quote, with personal medication, a warm layer, toiletries and anything you need before the main luggage is available again. Ask the operator about the camp facilities and baggage transfer for your dates.

Organise for moving days

Keep travel documents, sun protection, a refillable water bottle and a charged phone in a day bag. There are substantial road transfers across the Atlas ranges, so keep items for the journey accessible. Monument entrance fees and lunches are listed separately on the tour page; allow for those costs without assuming every stop is included.

Remember the coast is one day

Essaouira is visited from Marrakech on day nine and the tour returns to Marrakech for the night. A wind-resistant layer can help on the coast, but there is no separate Essaouira overnight bag to prepare for this itinerary. Confirm the final transfer towards Casablanca on day ten alongside your flight arrangements.
