On the three-day Marrakech to Agdez and M’Hamid tour, the stop order shapes how much time you have at each place. The published itinerary has two nights—Agdez hotel and M’Hamid camp—and the map reaches M’Hamid before turning back. It does not route through Erg Chigaga or Lake Iriqui.
Day one: Telouet, Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate
The outward drive crosses the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka, then describes the Ounila Valley, Telouet and the Glaoui kasbah. It continues to the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, pauses in Ouarzazate and reaches Agdez for dinner and a hotel night. Ask how long each stop is planned, whether a local guide is arranged and which admission charges are extra. The offer does not provide visit durations.
Day two: Zagora and Tamegroute before the camp
After Agdez, the day plan follows the Drâa Valley with short village breaks and a palm-grove walk. Beyond Zagora, it names Tamegroute’s pottery makers and manuscript library, then continues to M’Hamid for a camp night. Verify which Tamegroute visits are available on your date and where the camp is; the text does not identify its exact site or promise a separate off-road excursion.
Day three: Tamnougalt on the return
The final day starts with a sunrise camel ride and breakfast. Lunch is planned in Agdez, followed by the Tamnougalt kasbah and the road back to Marrakech. The table estimates an evening return. Ask the operator whether the kasbah visit is guided and how its time and any fees fit into the long drive.
The overnight and day-by-day guide explains the full sequence, while the camp packing guide covers practical preparation. If your goal is an extended stay in the large dunes, compare the separate five-day Erg Chigaga itinerary. The Marrakech Sahara tour collection contains other durations; choose by the named itinerary rather than the generic desert label.
