Marrakech to Agdez and M’Hamid in three days: itinerary and nights

Palm groves and rocky landscape in the tour gallery

The three-day Marrakech to Agdez and M’Hamid tour has two different overnight settings: a hotel in Agdez on day one and a camp near M’Hamid on day two. The published map reaches M’Hamid and returns to Marrakech; it does not show Erg Chigaga or Lake Iriqui. Plan for a long return drive on the final day.

Day one: High Atlas to the Agdez hotel

The program crosses Tizi n’Tichka through the Telouet and Ounila Valley area, visits the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, pauses in Ouarzazate and follows the Drâa Valley to Agdez. Dinner and a hotel night in the palm grove are listed. Confirm whether the Telouet kasbah and Aït Ben Haddou visits have separate admissions or local guide charges, since the offer excludes monument entrance and guided-tour fees.

Day two: the Drâa Valley and M’Hamid camp

After breakfast, the route continues via Zagora to Tamegroute, where the day plan names pottery makers and a manuscript library. It ends at a traditional tent camp in the M’Hamid area, with dinner. Request the camp’s exact location, tent and bathroom details, and the practical time available for the listed visits. The inclusion list covers accommodation with Moroccan breakfasts and dinners, plus transport in a 4×4; lunches and personal drinks are excluded.

Day three: sunrise camel ride and return

The program places the camel ride at sunrise, followed by breakfast and a return via Agdez for lunch and the Tamnougalt kasbah. Its information table asks for arrival at 07:45 on day one for an 08:00 departure and gives an approximate 19:00 return; confirm current pickup and arrival times for your date. Do not plan a tight onward connection without a current estimate from the operator.

Use the stop-by-stop route guide to prioritize visits, then the two-night packing guide. For a one-night southern camp itinerary, compare the two-day Zagora offer. The three-day offer carries the published inclusions and cancellation table.
