Agadir Tour Packing: Desert Camp or Anti-Atlas Coast

Pack for the itinerary you actually booked

An Erg Lihoudi or Erg Chigaga camp night needs different preparation from the eight-day Anti-Atlas and Atlantic coast journey. All three tours start in Agadir, but the day bag, layers and luggage questions depend on where you sleep and how the trip ends.

Keep the essentials within reach

Carry water, personal medication, sun protection, travel documents, a charged phone and a power bank on travel days. A light layer and scarf can be useful for wind and dust on desert approaches. Shoes with grip suit uneven paths around viewpoints or camp. Ask when larger bags remain in the vehicle or are transferred separately.

Situation Pack in your day bag Confirm with operator
Erg Lihoudi camp Layer, sun protection, water, toiletries Camp name, tent and luggage transfer
Erg Chigaga camp Layer, dust protection, phone power Off-road access and charging
Anti-Atlas/Atlantic days Layer for changing weather, comfortable shoes Stop sequence and final airport transfer

For the two desert tours

The four-day Erg Lihoudi tour lists one camp night near M’Hamid. The six-day Erg Chigaga tour lists one Chigaga camp night and a later hotel night in Marrakech. Check the named camp, tent category, bathroom arrangements, charging, road access and any comfort or mobility requirement in writing. Conditions can vary by month; pack layers for your travel dates rather than assuming all desert evenings feel the same.

For the Anti-Atlas and Atlantic circuit

The eight-day coast and Anti-Atlas tour does not have a Sahara camp night. Bring practical layers for inland and coastal weather and footwear for walking in towns and around viewpoints. Do not add camp gear solely because the trip starts in Agadir. Confirm whether your final transfer goes to Marrakech or Agadir airport, and keep the documents and luggage you need for that departure accessible.

Check the last details before pickup

Save the operator contact and itinerary offline. Confirm the Agadir meeting point, luggage arrangement, named accommodation and any dietary needs before the first travel day.
